About Mrs. Lubinsky

 

Mrs. Lubinsky is a 2001 Hempfield High School graduate . She received her Bachelor of Science certification (K-6) in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2005 and her master's coursework in K-12 school counseling from Duquesne University.

 

 

Her teaching experience has always been within the Norwin School District AND at Hahntown Elementary.  After being hired in 2005, Mrs. Lubinsky taught 3rd grade for six years and then taught second grade ELA for eleven years.  Last year, Mrs. Lubinsky was offered the opportunity to step out of her second grade classroom for three months to fill in for an elementary school counselor over at Sunset Valley Elementary.  It was there that she made up her mind that school counseling was her new passion.  In May, when the Hahntown Elementary school counselor job became available, she applied.  She will be starting her 18th year working for the Norwin School District filling the role as the school counselor at Hahntown Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year.  

 

 

Mrs. Lubinsky recently moved to the Penn Trafford area with her 2 small children (RJ - 4 years old and Sonny - 2 years old).  Mrs. Lubinsky's boys are her pride and joy!  In her free time, she enjoys lifting weights, running, reading, and spending time with her family!
