About Mrs. Edmonds
EDUCATION:
I am a Norwin graduate, Class of 1988. I received my Bachelor of Science and Business Administration with certification to teach from Robert Morris University. My masters coursework in Elementary School Counseling was completed at California University.
EXPERIENCE:
My teaching experience began at Sawyer School of Business in Pittsburgh followed by teaching high school at Penn-Trafford. I came to Norwin Middle School in 1993 followed by a year teaching at Norwin High School. My third year with the district I became an Instructional Support Teacher at Stewartsville Elementary. After three years, I completed my counseling degree and became an elementary school counselor with Norwin.
PERSONAL INTERESTS:
I live in North Huntingdon with my husband of 26 years and two children (19 and 22) that attended Norwin for all of their educational years. In my free time, I enjoy researching and traveling to new places with my family as well as swimming, reading and going to amusement parks. I am also involved in community outreaches through my church.
