A Little About Me
For as long as I can remember, I knew
that I wanted to be a teacher.
Therefore, it was an easy choice for me
to major in Elementary Education at
Penn State University. Following
graduation, Icontinued my studies at
Clarion University, attaining my Masters
Degree in Reading Education. I began
teaching in the Baltimore County
Public School System.There, I taught
fourth and fifth grades,
as well as gifted, for 6 years. Also
during this time, I attended Goucher
College and completed their school
leadership certification program. I
began my teaching career at Norwin
School District in 2010 and am so
thrilled to be a part of this wonderful
Hobbies and Family
Two of my favorite things are the arts
and athletics. I especially love painting
and drawing. In addition, I love reading
mystery novels and fiction in general.
As a teacher, it is so much fun when I
can connect the arts to our core subjects,
like math and science!
Sports are also a large part of my life
and I love to stay active by jogging
and playing wtih my children. Watching
sports is also a hobby of mine and I love
cheering on the Steelers, Pirates, and
the Penn State Nittany Lions.
My husband and I have three children.
Max will start kindergarten this
year, Sammy will start pre-school,
and Josephine turned one this summer. :)
