About Mrs. Edmonds

EDUCATION:
 
Mrs. Edmonds is a Norwin graduate, Class of 1988. She received her Bachelor of Science and Business Administration with certification to teach from Robert Morris University, and her master's coursework in Elementary School Counseling was completed at California University.
 
EXPERIENCE:
 
Her teaching experience began at Sawyer School of Business in Pittsburgh followed by teaching high school at Penn-Trafford. Mrs. Edmonds came to Norwin Middle School in 1993 followed by a year teaching at Norwin High School. During her third year with the district, I became an Instructional Support Teacher at Stewartsville Elementary. After three years, she completed her counseling degree and became an elementary school counselor with Norwin.
 
PERSONAL INTERESTS:
 
Mrs. Edmonds lives in North Huntingdon with her husband of 26 years and two children (19 and 22) who attended Norwin for all of their educational years. In her free time she enjoys researching and traveling to new places with her family as well as swimming, reading, and going to amusement parks. She is also involved in community outreaches through her church.
