Keys to Hahntown!

Part of our school's Positive Behavior System includes the Keys to Hahntown and Keys to the Bus.  These are basic expectations of our boys and girls in the area of:  Respecting Self, Respecting Others and Respecting Property.

Throughout the school year, our Keys to Hahntown and Keys to the Bus are reviewed by the teachers and our bus drivers with our students.  These expectations also correlate with character education traits that are teachers cover monthly.  These traits include:  Respect, Responsibility, Courage, Caring, Fairness, Honesty and Perseverance.

Additionally, our building uses the language associated with our voice level chart.  Boys and girls should be able to demonstrate a voice level of a 0, 1, 2 or 3.

Please take some time to review these expectations with your child.  As we say at Hahntown, "Your Are Responsible for Your Choices!"  I truly believe that our students need to understand that home and school are working together and communicating about what is expected at Hahntown.

Thank you!
