Student Supply List (2023-2024)

Hahntown Elementary School – First Grade Supply List

2 yellow highlighters

1 pack dry erase markers – black (4 pack) (please do not purchase Crayola brand dry erase markers)

2 pink erasers 1” x 2” (approximate)

12 pencils (#2 medium soft lead, sharpened if possible)

8 glue sticks

1 box of crayons (8 to 24 count)

1 pair of scissors

1 dry erase eraser or an old sock

Headphones to stay at school (labeled with your child's name)

Plastic pencil box or zippered pencil pouch

The items listed above should be placed in a ziplock bag with your child’s name on it and brought to school on the first day.  This bag will be kept in your child’s cubby.

Your child will also need the following:

Backpack with name on it (no wheeled backpacks)

Water bottle (please fill with water only and send to school each day)

Change of clothes (will be kept in your child’s backpack)

One pack of crayons, one glue stick, and several pencils will be provided.  We will organize our pencil boxes/pouches on the first day of school.  Extra supplies will be kept in each child's cubby for use as needed.  I will let you know if your child runs out of any of these items during the school year.

I have extras of all materials listed above here at school and will supply them if needed.
