Grade 2- Rms. 42 and 43 Learning About Matter

In room 42 and 43 the students have been learning about different types of matter. They also have been analyzing which materials/ matter would be best for building a toy house. With the holiday season instead of the students building a toy house, they created candy houses. The students used materials that were donated by parents.  They looked at what materials would be best for the base of the house, roof and sides. There were some successful houses and some houses that didn't make it. What a great learning opportunity for everyone!
