Welcome to Third Grade - Room 46

My name is Mrs. Erin Hassinger and I currently teach third grade math and science.  

*Just a little about myself...

*Education*

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-6 and a Reading Concentration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  I obtained my Master's Degree in Literacy with a Reading Specialist/Literacy Coach Certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  And, I have a Middle School Math Certification 7-8.  

*Time at Norwin*

The 2025/2026 school year will be my seventeenth year at Norwin.  I spent fifteen years in fourth grade and this is my second year in third grade.  Wow...time flies when you are having fun!  

 
*Family & Fun*

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I have a nine year old daughter named Reese and a six year old son named Lucas. I love to run and participate in different races throughout the year.  I also enjoy reading, hiking, biking, skiing, and traveling to new places.
